Artist JR and The "Inside Out" Project
I saw this and thought of...us, of all of you. First, if you haven't already met "JR", the winner of 2011′s TED Prize, check out this incredible TED video on the TED site.
Meet JR: Video interview and FAQ about the 2011 TED Prize winner
Today, JR is onto another world-wide project. This video is a bit slow but hang in there as towards the end he talks about an incredible global project we all can participate in, the "Inside Out Project".
Visit the "Inside Out" project to participate.

Chris Jordan and "Midway: Message from the Gyre"
This opened my eyes! It's something I came across on FStoppers and wish to pass on as it's a major issue and one that I have never heard about until now. More than likely, you haven't either. It's baby albatross dying on Midway Island (or Midway Atoll and is located in the Northwest Hawaiian Islands) because adult albatross are feeding their young plastic debris from The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Please check out, and pass along, the works of Seattle photographer Chris Jordan in this powerful youtube video.
The photographs from the project can be found here on Chris Jordon's site.
And really, we should all check out The Great Pacific Garbage Patch on Wiki. I had no idea...Thank you, Chris.
